yeah i have...trust me that magnum has been through plenty of mud...

i kinda grew out of that stage, i like rippin around w/o getting totally caked in mudd now

 

I don't think I'll ever get sick of it... My sole goal when riding is to see how stuck I can get. But with the new laws it gets harder and harder to find good mud... [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]

Yeah, I think if I didn't have my winch I'd have already died of a heart attack. Even with the winch, I'm come close. I buried myself in wet snow up over the racks last winter. With my 3000 lb winch it took me 2 hours to get out. I ended up hanging the quad from a tree over and over, moving it like a foot each time.

The worst part about getting stuck in the snow, is that once you get stuck once and lose momentum, you likely will not get going again. In my woods, I made it down my trails about 300 yards before I sank and got stuck last year. Once I got turned around, I had to winch myself the WHOLE way back, going from one tree to the next. Needless to say, i stay near the driveway now. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

Do any of you guys, who are still in school, ever ride to school ? I remember when a buddy of mine rode his sled to school. This annoying kid kept asking him for a ride. Finally he was like "OK let's go." He took him about thirty feet before he hit this straight up jump and the kid fell off and rolled down the hill !!! It was hilarious!! Everybody was laughing their @sses off.

 

I've looked into it. ATV, no way, no trails down there. Snowmobile, I'm thinking a definite maybe. i know there are trails at the school and trails at my house, just gotta figure out how it all connects.

I've seen kids at school putting helmets into their lockers, and heard sleds leaving after school, so I know there are trails that lead there.

 

back in my days, we had no atvs or 'mobiles. I walked uphill in the snow against that thar durn wind
