Why you scrap your windows, here we all have inside heaters in every car. Nice in the mornings, open the door and throw your jacket to the rear seat and push little gas to the Chrysler´s motor
I try to start my car early every morning and let it warm up, but I was running very late this morning.

I want a remote car starter but that is just pure laziness. Although in the dead of winter I wouldn't mind going out in the -20* to a warm car.

Giving a "heads up" is giving a warning. Or you can yell it as a warning. If you throw something at someone, you would yell "Heads up!". It means to look now!

Anyway Ty!
Best way to heat car in wintertime is heater named Defa(Norway) it warms the water in motor and same time there is heater inside what blows warm inside the cabin. If you put blower full, you can fry eggs on the roof for breakfast before driving.

Do most cars in Finland come with these heaters?

I use the regular defroster on the car. This just uses heat from the engine, like the regular heater. So you have to wait for the engine to get warm.

No no, our system ofcourse needs electricity, but all you need is put plug from your own electricity pole ( in big parking lots there is pole for everyone) to the car and clock system takes care of rest. Heating starts 2 hrs before you start. Everyone puts own time to his clock. And if you live in smallhouse you just put own system just for you.

Welcome to the nuthouse Mr.Grande.
When you type in your message, do you type in English or Finnish?
I love broken English, so much gets lost or gained in translation.

I know what you are talking about now. We call them "engine block heaters", because they do just that. In very cold places they have the outlets in parking lots you speak of, but I don't know if they have timers like your system, although it would be easy to do. They have the outlets in the Midwest a lot. Pluse at places like bus depots for the diesels to warm up with.

It is usually about a 25 USD option on new cars.

EDIT: I just read your last part about getting it installed, I guess you are talking about something very similar but not exactly the same.

Don't apologize to us, I can't imagine how our writing sounds to you.
