Haven't seen the prices jump, yet. We're still going to Vegas. We have to take the truck because of the dog. It will cost about $45 more so that won't stop me from having a fun weekend with the family. It's going to hurt alot of people soon. We have already changed some things and won't drive or visit some places so this will be a serious ripple affect for everyone.

Congrats Tyler. Freedom! Weee! Have fun, be careful. The first day I got my license, I took my dads car during a bad snowstorm with all my buddies and put 120 miles on the car and almost rear ended someone. I was probably up by drlangs house. I hope my dad isn't reading this. Does God have internet?

I think he may still be on dial up. I don't think cable gets up there yet.

Way off any subject. I don't get it. People are thankful for a bed and a place to stay just thankful to be alive and then there are people shooting looting and raping. I seriously wanted to help out, but the bad apple just ticks me off. Am I right or wrong?

Exactly. If you have any respect for your fellow victims and residents, you should not do that. I liked an email I just saw on the oreilly show - "the armed looters are just like terrorists, and should be treated and be dealt with as such".

If the police just started dropping the guys shooting at the supply and rescue boats (That makes me mad) then the rest of them would probably stop. Those guys aren't organized gangsters or criminals, they are adrenaline-fed kids on the street with no authority over their head. They'd get frightened pretty fast.

On another note, it's gonna cost me $105 to fill the gas tank when the time rolls around.

Would never. Not that stupid. Plus the new laws (as much as I hate them) keep us in line. No passengers (except family) for six months. No friends in the car egging you on. No cell phones for 6mos, no driving between midnight and 5am. Annoying rules, but probably smart.

ANY traffic violation results in license suspension for a month. The second infraction is 60 days, the third 90 days. Any after are a year at a time, and the time adds up, so you could lose it for a while. That's a good persuasion to keep you from speeding, no?

3.14 dollars/gallon * 34 gallons/tank = $106.76 per tank!!

3.14 dollars/gallon / 13.5 miles/gallon = 23 cents a mile !! lol I'm screwed. Driving to school is gonna cost like 2 dollars a day haha
