you should check it out the only negative thing they said was the weight but hey its a polaris...

Yeah Atv Action couldn't say enough good things about it. They said there's a lot of things that could have been done wrong on the outlaw but Polaris did everything right. Actually I think they were a little shocked by how much they liked it. The only thing they said was it's weight but said it didn't feel any heavier than the Pred. Pretty impressive in my opinion.

 

I'm more interested in what the people that buy them have to say....

 

True Dat! I'm sure they will love them more than the magazines.

 

i only threw that in there because historically dirt wheels rags on polaris stuff even after the pred beat the raptor in there shoot out they knocked the pred in the end saying with a few extras the raptor would have excelled..

 

I just got back from the 2006 test ride today,,The outlaw is a great handling quad,it's good looking and rides awsome.BUT polaris has to do more to it,it has some flaws already. The frame was cracked in a few spots and there was no front motor mount which seed to make the motor move a viberate.OVERALL THOUGH, IT WILL BE A GREAT QUAD. The polaris guy told us that it is only going to be in limited production this year. and all the things we found wrong will be fixxed before it comes out.

not really just a little test. I didn't want to get hurt and i don't think the polaris guys would have liked me riding . i just help move them around by putting them but, all the guys i went though filled me in on all the dirt on the outlaw also a watched everything and took pictures. also i filled them(the polaris guys r+D)in on some of the flaws with the predator. I told them about the front brake drag thing,about the rear brake peddle,the breaking points on the frame,the weak plastic throttle,the bad front wheel bearings,putting on EFI intake/carb,air box impovements and a few other idems i can't think of at this minute. I also suggested that they make a scrambler auto clutch/engine in a sport frame like a predator.They seemed to really like that idea.
They wrote everything down and said all our comments will be looked at by the top R+D guys,and also thet said that they would be looking into more things to impove the predator

 

should have told them to make a Sportsman Sport with a hopped up 700 carbed motor, fox shocks, a fully manual transmition and other weight saving things, like no racks

 

well i said to them it would be a good thing if they would use a full auto clutch/engine on a true sport frame like the predator has.I said that people love the scramblers but would love to have a sport frame.they did ask what engine and i said it didn't matter a 500efi or 700efi or even a 800efi. they said thaT a 500 was more reallistic.
