anything different on my tb LE
#2
Nope, not that I am aware of. I picked one up for my wife and thought the orange was cool and the bash plate helps a ton. I installed the RCR stage one kit, and it really wakes up the TB.

See i was wondering because i was looking things over and was wondering does the regular tb have an aluminum rear axle also. And by the way thats a handsome quad your old ladys got. Oh and another thing does her engine have a slight tap to it yet when the throttle is released while riding, because mine does already. And i've filled that gas tank abut 5-6 times already and the oil still is pretty full.

Have not noticed any tapping, it has the 2 stroke ping to it, but it is more an exhaust note. Average oil conumption is noticable after a tank of gas or so. I think I have ran 4 or 5 tanks and put almost a quart of oil in it. not real sure tho. It should deffinately be noticable during the first few tanks. Did you premix your first tank and look for a noticable drop in the level before you ran strait gas? I the knocking may be a very bad sign that your oil injection is not working. I would watch it closely. The premix is like 32:1(someone correct me if I am wrong) so if you are not noticing a 4 oz drop in oil per gallon of gas then something is wrong! Hope everthing works out for you.

yeah somethings gotta be wrong with it because its almost still full and that knocking sound i dont think its getting proper lubrication and the polaris dealer is suppose to have the first tank premixed already atleast thats what it says in the manual

Have you guys noticed a vibration in the front end of your 2005 TB 250? I bought one in January of this year and it has been in three different dealerships for this. Each time the dealer personnel told me this was a characteristic of this ATV. Mine also has the Douglas chrome wheels and I took the wheels off my 1997 Trailboss and the vibration seemed better..This leaves me to believe one of the wheels is bent or bad tires...It has Carlisle tires on it..It is again in the shop and another two weeks not ridable...
