My buddies has a 94 honda fourtrax 300 2x4 and its just as fast as my sportsman on pavment ! Whats up with that , figured mine should kick its @ss on speed ! The sportsmans top speed is 57 , the honda is all stock besides a outerwares filter.

 

Was his top speed the same as yours? Was take off about the same?

I dunno , when we are side by side we are doing 57 , when he's in front he does 48 and when hes behind me he can go just as fast as me cuz iam clearing all the wind but i mean come on side by side he's just as fast ! makes me dissapointed , i dunno if this has anything to do with it but my quad back fires on occasion and spits when coming to stops .
