Default 800vs 700

My buddy is taking delivery of a new 800 on monday. Anyone know of things to lookout for on this new machine? I am lookig forward to seeing it so I can figure out how some people are useing the 800 exhuast on a 700. How much faster-or actually how much better does the 800 pull of the line than a well tuned 700 carb ?

well you have a clutch, so its not going to be as bad as it is stock, but your still gonna get beat, and beat hard

When He gets it have a race and post the results. I don't think hes going to blow you away but he will have more take off due to the different clutch he has.

I think an 05 carb or an EFI 700 would do better due to the Team clutching.
Let us know.

You better put on your stock tires if you want a chance in hell.

Your done, don't even compare it. I've driven a 700 Carb and a 800 EFI, and I can tell you from seat time, not that much, but the 800 was like nothing I've ridden, gas it hard a 40mph, and the rear starts spinning hard, its unreal.
Put it this way, my friend with his clutched and K$N airfilter, can just get ahead of my buddy's grizzly, the 800 blows it away.

I want one real bad but have to wait for financial reasons.
