Default EBS or not?

now that TEAM has discontinued making the TAS-98 non EBS secondary clutch
can the EBS be used with a standard primary clutch and belt for those of us who don't want or need EBS???

I have a EBS Team roller secondary and I'm going to put a Non- EBS primary clutch on. I will let you know how it works.
