Got my 2005 800 EFI Today. Anyone want to ride with me next week?

Installed the Polaris winch myself. The instructions were ok. Some parts were fuzzy without the pics. will have to wait for a bit and then take it somewhere to play with. Can't wait. If anyone in WI wants to go riding with me sometime, drop me a line and we'll see what we can do.
I am just so excited and can't wait to play with it. The wife rode behind me on my 03 Honda Rincon. We went on a Polaris sponsored tour in Utah and the hosts let us ride their 700 EFI and 500 HO. After we got back she said she wanted her own machine. Before we left, I finally had my one place enclosed trailer set up the way I wanted it. Used it once or twice and then had to trade it in on a 2 place side loading trailer. I asked her if she ever wanted her own machine and she said she didn't. Thanx Honey.
Anyway, she got her 04 Sportsman 500. I traded my 03 Rincon in and got a 05 800 EFI.

Congratulations man!
I just got mine as well. It was my reward to myself after returning home from a year in Afghanistan, my house sits back in the woods and I had several trees down in the yard and two that had hit the house which sat empty during that time. Everything is pretty badly grown up and cluttered by the downed trees. So, the 800 has been doing a good share of the pulling and heavy work and hasn't moaned or complained once. I had mine three days and tore my yard to pieces and was finally able to go to Haspin and break it in properly. I put 45 miles on it that first day. It is an absolute animal. I have been dragging stumps out of the yard (after pulling them loose with my truck) and pulling my utility trailer with it. While at Haspin, I pulled several other utility quads out of the muck. The thing pushed mud with the headlights. I also spent quite a bit of time on the flat drag track. I was beat by a new KFX 700 by about one length, a built-up Banshee by about three lengths, and of course, a couple of dirt bikes. I beat several stock Banshees, a 660 Grizzly, and several other smaller quads. Great all around ride. I can't wait to get a winch and a plow. It has made my yard work fun.

I would ride with you but it might be hard to drag you out when you break down. My 4x4 is so small and all.

I'm not bashing you or polaris . I have just had this happen sevaral times with "NEw"quads. you have to get the bugs out first. 40 miles in the woods is not the place to discover the foreinger who torqed your oil plug was having a bad day. lol
