Hello everyone, I have been busy with my new sportbike (Honda 600RR) and have not been doing anything with my quad since memorial weekend. it's in the shop right now getting looked over so hopefully it'll be ready by the 24th for an Ogemaw Trails trip that a group of us from work are taking. I see alot of new faces on here, any good topics or just the same old stuff?

I was starting to feel some withdrawls, I found a new site for my sportbike so I spend all my time on there now but for the past few days it has been like on here for me in the past where the posts seem to be all the same and repeticious so I figured I'd stop in and say hello to all by good buddies over here on the connection. I have installed a Cabelas barend mirror and a home made GPS mount but that's it, I am trying to sell both my 04' 700EFI and my 27" Mudlites mounted on type 6 wheels if anyone is interested I believe both are listed on the connections classifieds.

 

on the 24th Wildcard (Mike card) is coming over here and were riding Bull Gap..If you make it this way let us know.

Good to see ya around. How do you like the 600RR? I'm thinking of getting one next summer. It'll be my first bike.

 

Welcome back Dave, I was wondering how the withdrawls were going.

I may be going up to Mio or St Helens this Fri/saturday. Still want to hit Silver Lk too before October.

I have a trip planned for the 24th to go to the Ogemaw Trails up near BullGap. where are you staying or are you camping? tell Mike to bring my Leatherman and etc that got mixed up when we went down to Hatfield. I'd appreciate it thanks.

 

I absolutely love the new 600RR, I am having a blast on it. I have only had two mishaps with it so far, the first was when my wife and I (Seperated Now) went to the park to take a walk and the bikes kickstand sunk into the pavement and fell on it's left side but had no damage thank god due to us having the helmets sitting on the pegs and the bike landed on the helmets which got damaged. the second mishap happened this past monday when I had my mother video taping me doing burnouts on the RR and the bike got sideways then hooked up and threw me off, I was burning the tire off because it was shot already and I had a new tire to install. I'll post the video below so you all can get a good laugh.

Well I live in Mio..and I believe Mike is staying at the Songbird..I havent spoke with him in close to 2 weeks..but before he comes over I will let him know..

 

I am debating whether to go to Ogemaw on the 24th or not, a group of us are going to silverlake on Friday morning (30th) and riding then staying at the motel that night then riding again on Saturday (1st) if you guys are interested.
