Just wondering what a stock 250 flywheel weighs.

 

it weighs around a pound i took it off my 99 trail blazer made it rev a little quicker .

 

That doesn't sound right. Anybody else? Rick? Speedwerx?

that can't be correct becuase HPD removes 2.3 pounds on there race mods.

Also how does your motor run with no flywheel, does it vibrate? I thought there were magnets on the fly wheel for the stater are you getting power?

 

sorry my mistake i thought he was talking about the electric start ring on the fly wheel i believe the flywheel weighs around four pounds.

 

I'm still thinking that's not right. Any experts got the right figure?

 

Gotta ask, what's a henway?

 

A 400 flywheel weighs around five and a quarter pounds I do believe , let me find a 250 in the shop and weight one again .

Just for those that are curious. I have a Cyclone flywheel that I am trying to compare weights with. I will also check the weight on my Xplorer 250 to see which weighs what.
