I'm looking for something that fits in the hitch hole and comes up the back to secure gas cans to. Anyone know of such a critter.

It will go on our sp 500 and 700 05 models. When you haul coolers or gas cans on the racks it rubs the composite material of the racks. It wore a groove on my 500 hualing a cooler! I'm wanting a holder that I can put in the hitch bracket that goes up behind the rack itself.

We built 2 of them to hold a 5 gallon can. Attaches to rear w/u-bolts. Can fits very tight...which is good. I will try to get some pics and post them

I have some pictures of my gas can carrier I built for my 04 700 on this webpage. http://photos.yahoo.com/jamiez71 the photos are located under atv trails. I made it out of 3/8" rebar welded together and a small piece of angle iron that attaches it to the rack.
