Where is the best and cheapest place to buy jerseys, pants and all that,either on the web or mail order? There has to be an incredible mark-up on that crap. Anyone know of any good deals or where to find em?

 

I am fortunate to live by a Kames store. I don't know if they are national, or if it's the only one out there. I do know that they sponser a couple of top riders, Tim Farr included. They have the cheapest riding gear I have ever seen. They sell the clothes at top dollar, but every three months, they have clearance sales. The $169 riding pants drop to $39. The $49 jerseys drop to $9.99, the $36 riding gloves drop to $9.99. I even got some $279 Gearne riding boots for $129.

Another option is to go to any magazine stand, and pick up a dirtbike or MX'er magazine, and look at the ads in there. P.S. This is the time of year that they clear out all their 2000 stuff, to prepare for their 2001 stuff. Great deals, especially on package deals.
