Hello all,
I am thinking about getting an SP800 in the next couple of weeks. I know I can get a better deal on a left over 2005 model and I wanted to know if there were any major design flaws since it was the 800s first productions year.
Also, I am in Knoxville, TN. does anyone know of any dealers in the Southeast that have great deals on the 800s? Im willing to drive to try and save money.
also, one more question: is the 800 worth $1200 more than the 700?
Thanks in advance,
Eddie

j/k of course. Actually, it looks good. I saw it up there on Friday. It will sell pretty quick.

One thing that we noticed about the 800 that we ride with is that it gets horrible fuel milage. But I hear the longer you ride it the better it gets. And every big-bore gets bad milage so? Other than that, last weekend we rode 235 miles over 2 days on some trails near our cabin in da UP eh and the machine pulled nicley, tacked all the mudholes with ease. It was the best polaris sportsman I ever rode. I would sell mine, but I am waiting for the outlaw.

My cousin has an 05 800 and is very happy with it, he upgraded from a 500HO. No problems as of yet. The other riders I've met with these machines have been happy. There are some problems with the line and they have been stated on these forums a few times but I'm not sure how widespread and common they are.

I heard that thing had been flipped about 7 times and landed in a 9ft deep pond upside down. Then the tow truck dropped it on the front end

your not helping it was up there all week last week, Jermey said no lookers, and apparently the truck that shipped out thursday with my Pred on it hasnt even left Minisota yet, so looks like another week of waiting, i hope it sells this week, cuz as much as i like supporting my favorite sport, i dont feel like shelling out 500 bucks to Waynes...
