Default Oil Pump Gear?

How do I remove the oil pump gear off the crank of a 96 xplorer 300. I'm trying to rebuild the motor but having trouble with gear because it's holding a bearing on the crank.

Default Oil Pump Gear?

It takes a hydraulic press and a bearing seperator/ gear puller . They are pressed on at a pretty tight fit . I ussually take the bearing and gear at the same time , this keeps me from chipping gear teeth . The bearing is heading for the trash can anyway so I don't worry about stressing it to much .

Don't try any "hammer chisel " methods , you will regrett it .
