Default Carb Idle Question.....

I have a 94 sport 400L. In order for it to idle at all, the idle screw has to be turned in all of the way. Any suggestions on what may be the problem?

weres your air screw? sounds like it could be getting to much fuel or is way out of adjustment by the handle bars.

Default Carb Idle Question.....

The air screw on the carb is turned out 1.5 turns - (according to my manual)
What do you mean out of adjustment by the handle bars?

well its been a while since I had the stock throttle cable, but I beleive there is an adjuster on it so you could tighten it up some I loosened mine as I had the opposite issue as you.

I'm inclined to agree with brad I didn;t even think about the air jet. good luck, hope you get it figured out.
