The chain is starting to rattle and knock on the sliders so i guess its time to tighten er. Anyone got any tips or useful info before i start? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also i have the service manual for my quad too.

If it needs to be tightened then you might as well take it off and clean it in some hot soapy water. CHeck the roolers for broken ones(roolers). Put the chain back on and tighten it down alltile bit, not to tight you want some slack in the chain because as your back shock goes down, the chain tightens up.

 

All true, but id rather not go through all the trouble of taking the chain off. I know not to make it too tight.
