Default headlight pod

hello....I am new to the forum. I have a question..just bought a used Sportsman 335...the highbeam headlight in the pod is burnt out...it did not come with a manuel...took a quick look at it but could not get the pod open (off)...any suggestions would help...also.. I have noticed that several of you have added the mod kit to the headlight system...did this make a big difference when riding at night? I am a duck hunter and the extra light would be nice when setting out bocks!! thanks.

Go to Polarisindustries.com on the home page is a link to owner manuals and part manuals, just need to get a login ID and password, pretty simple.

Choose the parts manuel not the owners. I see that they only have the owners manuel supplement under owners. The parts manuel has some nice diagrams, should give you a good idea how to get it off.

Front two corners have philips screws holing it on, your best bet is to remove the rack and the front plactic hood, or use a very short screw driver. Then there is only one screw on the back.
