Default 03 SP 700 Brake problem

Riding this w/e pulled brake lever and went all way to handle bar. Was going slow so did not hit anything. Found master cylinder empty also found lots fluid inside right rear rim. Got home & cleaned up tonight and found 1 brake pad MISSING. This caused caliper piston to press on rotor which did not agree with the piston so busted the seal in it. Take to dealer tomorrow see how bad actually is.

Default 03 SP 700 Brake problem

same problem here.
i plugged the rear hand brake line and removed the caliper.
i can spin the rear tires forever now.
reminds me of driving my car.

it was a 10mm bubble flare if i remember correctly.
seal kits.... are outrageous.
60 bucks was the cheapest i found for a new piston and seal.

good luck.
