Default FUEL PUMP SCRAMBLER?

do you need a fuel pump i am putting in a pro x 440 motor that has fuel pump do you need it because atv gravity fed please help thanks

do you mean a 440 piston or a 440 snow mobile engine? piaston no, snowmobile engine most likly yes because of carb design.

yes 440 snowobile the carbs are tmx 34 mikuni flatslides we run a set on a banshee with no problem will this need the fuel requirments thanks

I don;t know enough about the motor so I hope someone elsewill chime in. I usually don;t mess around when it comes to fuel if its there in a snowmobile I personally would want it in a quad. just me.

well I doubt that the tiny petcock can supply enough fuel by gravity for a high rpm motor like that

consider that the stock application (snowmobile) runs a larger fuel line with a pump
it is likely you will also need to use the pump

the donor sled will have all the hoses and such already there to make the pump work anyways
