Its easy for me. I grab the brake and pin the throttle, then let go of the brake and pull back. It pops right up!

Don't let the hp numbers fool you. Its all in how you get it to the ground. Clutching clutching clutching!

My last 400 Scrammy all you had to do was hit the gas and hang on and let off before it came all the way over.A clutch kit really helps.

My all stock srambler 400 will not come up even with me pulling on the bars and sitting on the back. I have to stand on the grab bar. Im sure clutch work and pipe would fix that. Stock it doesnt have enough low end power.

I could wheelie my stock 400. There's a little timing to it. When you gas it don't just pull back right then. Wait for the powerband to hit then pull. It will come up I assure you. Just be ready to hit the brake cause when they come up they come up fast.

What are you guys sitting on the gas tank and trying to wheelie? If i can wheelie on my 250 trail boss yall should have no problem with a 400.

if your having problems with a stock 400 it may be time for a rebuild, there should be more then enough power to lift them up. I know this isn;t a possitive response but I would definatly say check it out.

the timing is definatly difficult, pre pipe I could ride one out for a good 25 yards. the balance point is hard to find and the clutch doesn;t seem to want to keep the wheels up when you have to let off the gas and then gun it again to ride one out. I'm a light guy as well no more then 30 pounds over 135 pounds.

yeah i agree w/the timing...

i may have a 4 stroke but i had to do alittle bit of timing at first...now i just know because i've done so many wheelies and i know when i need to pull up
