Anybody else using an 800 primary on the 700

Default Anybody else using an 800 primary on the 700

I didn't think they started with the Team rollers til the 2005 machines. Will it not work correctly with out the team roller?

bigred500 is your 04.5 700 a carb or efi? If its a carb you have the old standard secondary if its the efi you have the team roller secondary. I think the old standard secondary will work just fine but you would see more preformance gain with a roller secondary.

The 800 has a new primary that has a smaller start ratio thus giving it better take off. Its like sarting in a little bit lower gear.

ahh. I see. makes sense. I was hoping the pulley itself was larger.
