Doing a liitle postseason wrenching and noticed the rubber bump stop on the top of my rear shock was shredded ( stuck in the spring halfway down). I do a lot of jumps with mine and suspect that this caused it. Question is: Can I retro fit a Scrambler shock onto my Trailboss 325 without major modifications? I have a diemaker friend so I could modify brackets, etc. All answers very much appreciated and yes I know the obvious answer " Buy the Scrambler!", but I,m too cheap to do that yet ( plus my wife objects!!!)

 

First I would make sure you have enough preload.
It sounds like you are bottoming often.

I'm almost positive the fox shock will work, as HSP sells one to fit the TBlazer, and from what I can tell between my blazer and my cousin's boss, the underneath is all the same, only the plastic and motor are different(cept the front of the frame) The one from hot seat performance is only $149, all complete with spring and resevoir, ready to bolt on.

 

Thanks guys! I did finally adjust the preload which helped alot. I was hoping that there would be something designed for a little more abuse seeing as I either need to rebuild or replace the stock unit. I'll give Hot Seat a call..
