If your better half is sitting on the rear rack, always make sure she is holding on before giving it full throttle to catch up with a buddy's quad. it really shortens your riding time that day.

Seems my buddy found out the hard way that a banshee is a bit more nose heavy then a 400 ex, banshee was fine his ego wasn't
when changing your tires for the winter make sure the rims on the winter set are the same depth or the nutz may only catch half the threads, It was a really funny landing.
make sure you have enough momentum so that you can let off the gas at the top of a hill climb or the quad just shoots straite up and comes back down the hill without ever touching the level ground at the top. one cracked case, side cover, bent axel, bent bars, later.

hey all, been a while since i posted, i moved to cookeville,tn now and havent had much time to ride cause my wheeler is 2 hours away. another thing not to do: if you havent rode in a while and then go riding, make sure it has plenty of gas before you get about 5 miles away from home.

How about this one.....
After swapping out the stock tires for some new oversized mudders..... expect better traction climbing steep creek banks.....
Which brings us back to the best one of all..... Never ride without a helmet....
Could have changed out of my work clothes too?
Had to test them right away!

Don't know that I can speak for all ATV's, but the air in the rear tires floated my Polaris 325 Magnum.....Thank God. If not, I would have drown!!! I can tell you that draining everything, and getting back in running condition is a time consuming process....so the mentality of thinking that they don't float, is probably a good one to maintain.
