your oil would be milky if its contaminated. on the dipstick it should look just like milk, or chocolate milk, depending on how much water.

I doubt you got any in the motor.....but who knows. You can use the dipstick method.....if you were real worried about it, you could crack the drain plug a bit......and if water in there, it would run out first......because water is heavier than oil.....

Might also use the dipstick method in the gear case.......

Not real sure about hubs......but might be worth checking over......

I'd oil the chain up good, and grease all of the fittings too........

The motor is completely sealed with the exception of the intake and exhaust. If you kept it running in the water no water will get up the exhaust. If you did not drown it through the intake then no water will get in. Even if you get a little water in it the oil will have a milky tan color to it. You will be ok as long as you dont drown it.

you're oil will usually look milky if you got water in it, you can usually see the water on the dip stick....for the price of oil and filter, change your oil....but i don't think you would have gotten any in the motor

Great way of putting it Grizzman.
If you have any doubts, just change it. Like Elkbow said, it' not that much money and you'll have piece of mind.
Just remember, when you use it as a sub, jump off if you get an active ping.
