Just let those who are buying 06 quads that Polaris is giving a 3 year warrenty on all 06 models. Hopefully they will keep it that way. promotion

its about time, the 6 month warranty sucks...

i noticed its a '3 year extended' warranty...so it must be not as good as the original 6 month warranty, does it just cover parts?

 

Boy, Just a bit behind the times guys.. this has been out for about a week. as soon as I saw this option with the Polaris "free ride" it was time to upgrade ! no more hard winter starting.. EFI'S ALL THE WAY !

Free Ride gives you no pmts, no interest till Jan 07 ! Plenty of time to pay them off .

As for the 2.5 warrenty.. Its got a 50.00 deduct.. But covers most everyting. It kicks in after the b to b 6mo one ends.

 

can you still make payments if you want to?

will Polaris send a statement every month with the option of sending some dough?

You have the option of the 2.5 year warranty or $400 in options. I decided to get the $400 in options and get a 4.5 year warranty from the dealership for $500. I get the extra 2 years transferable warranty. Plus the warranty that I purchased has no deductible. I can also take it to anyone I want to fix it. It does not have to even be a Polaris dealer. I would have been getting the extras anyways so it worked out better. I also think a warranty is they key to a ATV depreciation. To me, buying a used quad with a warranty is pretty safe and is a great selling point.

 

yes.. you can pay each month and you will get a monthly statement..If you dont have it paid off by Jan o7 statemet it will roll to a 13.9 % rate.. This is a bit high so I would suggest to roll it to another card if its not paid by then

 

It looks like you are talking about an after market warrenty.. Be very carfull about these.. these co's go out of business all the time and several require YOU to pay for the repair and they will then review if part or all of it is covered (many times its not covered in full) then they will send you your money.. this is a very low price for a 4.5 yr warrenty.. Just make sure you read ALL the fine print... It just may not be the great deal you were TOLD about..

 

I bought my 06 Predator GNCC on 10/31, dealer made no mention of this extended warranty offer. Anybody know if I qualify or am I SOL?

 

I dont know when the promotion started but I know the Predator is included. I would sure check about getting in on it. Be aware if you call your dealer, they might just tell you that you didnt qualify instead of admitting they screwed up. I would go by there and get documentation to verify if they say you dont qualify.
