Bet you thought I was getting another HO. New Dell 866mhz on the way! Wore the crank out on the old one and kept getting tangled in the barb wire. Got tired of looking at Chickenmans videos in slow motion. ( maybe thats the way he rides, let me know, I could saved a few bucks.)

You think you got it bad. I still have to stoke the coals in the boiler of ours. I was thinking of upgrading from steam to kerosene, but as long as she keeps going (and corn is under $2 a bushel) it'll have to do. For the curious, a bushel of corn weighs 56 pounds. Comes out to about 3 1/2 cents a pound. Check out what the one pound box of corn flakes cost next trip to the grocery store. I think I am on the wrong end of the chain.

Good luck on your new stressbox, Chopperbill! Hope the UPS person doesn't drop it too many times

Geeze . . . at home I have a 486 DX266.

Work I have some sort of Pentium II. I tried putting a pipe on it but the guys in Tech Support just about had a cow. The green spring just slows this sucker down.

Farmer: Know what you mean about farm prices. We are currently liqidating all of our farm equipment products and keeping just ATV's and recreational items. Farmers around here have hit rock bottom and almost drug us down too. You need to get into CRP and get rich and than get out.
Tim: I like to have my fat fingers around a after market Harley parts before I buy it. Got some pretty disapointing part via mail order.
Dazed: Old unit is a HP 166 mhz probably only worth about 10 cents a pound.

soon they have computers out with proessors faster than 1 gigahertz. just to tell all of u how fast a gigahertz is, it is 1 billion cycles per second. thats FAST. i dont think anyone needs more than 10gig hard dive if u figured out how much space it is u realize it it alot. 60 or 70gig is way overkill.
u dont need more than 128 megs of ram, windows doesent run any faster with 256megs or more.
128 is even overkill for most people.

i have a laptop witha 366mghz P2 and 128 megs ram and it still runs fast even running autocad 2000 and photoshope 5.5.

later
