Default 700 EFI problem

I have spark, compression, and 40 lbs of fuel pressure. BUT the bike won't start, everything was fine until one day the bike stalled and hasn't restarted since.

Check compression, the only thing I can come up with is the CDI box, not getting the spark at the right time....anyone else have any similiar problems?

I see they have a "Coil" listed for parts, but NO CDI box, .......is the ignition timed inside the computer?

You need to make sure you have voltage to your fuel injectors and that your spark plugs are good. Have you checked for any codes flashing when you turn the key on?

Spark plugs are new, bike won't even try to start with starting fluid or carb cleaner.

I'm not sure how to check the codes on the new EFI bikes... Anyone know how?

Turn the key on and of three times and leave it on the third time and the check engine light will flash and it will say wait and show code numbers if any are present. My 04.5 700 efi died thursday night and now when i turn my key on i don't hear the fuel pump run and i have two codes 41 and 45, back to the dealership.

Not sure if the codes are the same, but these are the codes for a 2005 700 EFI.......Code 21 is loss of synchronization.not exactly sure what that is.......code 61 will display after all codes have been transmitted........
