Default Aftermarket or rebuilt starter?

I need a starter for my 400 Scrambler. The ones from Polaris are outrageously priced. I saw some aftermarket ones on ebay in the $100 dollar range. There is also a couple of guys that rebuild them for around $60 with my core. Anyone have any experience with aftermarket or rebuilt starters? Thanks for any input!

I tried a rebuilt one, didnt work for more than a month, tried an aftermarket one, same results. I sucked it up and bought a polaris one and it has worked month several months now, no problems.

Thanks for the replies. 14rebuilders didnt have a buy-it-now price, and I didnt want to wait for the auction to end for fear of getting outbid, then have to start over. So, I went and got one from seller dbelectrical with a buy-it-now of $74.95, plus $12 shipping. This seller has excellent feedback, doesnt require a core and ships the same day. So, hopefully it all works out well. Thanks again for the help.

Don
