325 Expedition oil lines?????? help
#1
Are the 325 Xpedition oil lines effected in this recall??? I specifically asked my dealer and they told me that it was just the magnum and trailboss I don't understand why it would be these two and not mine too. but I guess if something does go wrong I will have his words to fall back on. Is it the oil lines or just the clamps Io was thinking about putting on hose clamps instead of the spring clamps that are on it now

See Chopper Bill's post from Oct 10, 2000
325 Owners.
Also here is a word of advice from one of my previous posts:
I am yet another victim of failed oil lines. Just wanted to let other 325 owners know that if your dealer doesnt have the kit to upgrade your oil lines yet, at least pitch the stock spring clamps, and install double small screw clamps on both ends of your oil lines to prevent blow off. Luckily I read the thread by Chopper Bill about the problem and took some clamps and extra oil on a ride with a friend today. I had advised him to keep a close eye on the lines and 5 miles into the ride..........you guessed it, he had a foot and ankle full of oil. Luckily he quickly shut down and we were able to repair on site. But, save yourselves the field repair and at least band-aid the problem until these dealers get enough kits from Polaris to fix our bikes the way they should have left the factory!!

I do not remember their email address. I get to them by going to their website at www.polarisindustries.com and follow the links through "Contact Us" . They have a form you fill out and send it to them over the internet. They will email you back.
