just bought my son a 05 predator 500 limited edition. Bought myself a 05 sportsman 400. Some of my son's friends say he should have gotten a honda 400ex because they are faster than his 500. How can this be 500cc vs 400 cc ? Can this be correct ? The salesman said the predator would blow the honda 400ex away . Was he just telling me that to make a sale ?

No, he wasn't. Especially if you have the Limited with the Pure Polaris/White Brothers pipe on it. If your son has any riding skills at all, he will beat most other stock bikes.

 

Not sure ,but the salesman says it is an after market pipe of some type. I know you can change out disc on the end orf the pipe.

 

Yea, that's the PP/Wb pipe on there...same as mine. You got him a good, fast, excellent handling, super suspension bike there...and I ain't just saying that either...LOL
