You dont have to use polaris oil to maintain warranty but it sure looks good if you do. If you buy your oil at the dealer you got the atv you have reciepts that you used the correct oil in case something happened. Gas treatment is fine and wont hurt it. Seafoam works realy good for gas treatment.

or this Amsoil product designed for small 4 strokes. might be a good idea to get that bad gas out of the tank all together by draining it, not hard to do, it's a waste of gas but if it's no good then it's worth it. perhaps you used someone elses gas out of desperation, but be careful where you get your fuel from especially if the can is metal.

well the gas came from a gas station on the way to a hunting spot. the tank in almost out and there is less hestitation and struggling i think a tank of 93 should be ok for now then going back to 89 octane. the gas the was put in was 87 by mistake.
also do i change out the oil filter everytime

my 600 twin gas hog has yet to get 10 mpg but I always use high octane. it's worth the extra $$ to me, you would have to do an awful lot of riding to see any substantial savings from buying lower octane fuel. don't know if it really makes a difference but I'd stick to the higher octane fuel. these little engines take a beating so why take the chance?

peace
