First I need to apologize for my ignorance, but Im really new to the ATV hobby.

What's a good price for the Warn/Polaris 2500lb winch package?

 

I purchased a Warn 3.0 winch kit from breese lawn and garden off of EBAY for 385.00. The kit was the Polaris 50th Anniversary Edition kit so it had the mounts for a 2004 model quad. I then purchased a Kappers brand mount for a 2006 800 off of EBAY for 39.00. So I have less than 450.00 in my WARN 3.0 set up. The 800 is pre wired and the kit comes complete so installation was a breeze. Breese has great prices on all of their Polaris ATV accessories. I also purchased my front brushguard / rear bumper combo from them.

 

I’ve heard of the Polaris Warn 2.5 kit being sold on Ebay for $329, but whether you get the 3.0 or the 2.5 you DEFFINATLEY want the Polaris Warn kit for that machine. As robedoll said, your 800 is pre-wired from the factory for a Polaris Warn winch kit, so installation is easy and reliable.

 

I bought a 2500# Ramsey wireless remote winch for $250 and then I think $45 for a bracket from some atv store online in Martin Kentucky. Sorry I can't remember the name but they were pretty well known for good prices.
