Default BRAKE PROBLEMS,,,, HELP!!!

Just put new pads all the way aroud and cannot get my foot pedal to work. There is plenty of pressure when i push down on it but it won't stop. The hand brake works fine but that controls all of the brakes. I need to be able to use the back brake alone. Any ideas???

Default BRAKE PROBLEMS,,,, HELP!!!

The rear master brake cylinder really needs to be blead well, like 3 resiviors of brake fluid to get the air out. Then it lasts a couple of days then it's dead again. I don't think it's designed well and most folks give up and use the hand lever exclusively.

I've heard there's a brake kit out that splits the Polaris brake system into seperate systems, front and back. I don't know from who though, maybe someone else knows.

Default BRAKE PROBLEMS,,,, HELP!!!

I hope so, don't want to take it to a dealer if I don't have to. Brakes are the easiest thing to fix.

Default BRAKE PROBLEMS,,,, HELP!!!

Hey thanks for the info, maybe I'll look around for that brake kit u were talking about but for now I think i'll have the dealer take a look at it because there going to owe me one when I get done w/ those !@@$$%%^$%& People, Reason I say that is because I just had the starter clucth replaced (even if there is such a thing) and it is still acting the same so you can imagine the wrath of an angry WOMAN LOL

Hey time2play and LittleBull,
Dont worry about the rear brake. It's a bad design that cant be fixed. I dont care how much you bleed it, it will keep losing it's prime. I think the hand brake does a good enough job. The rear brake just doesn't do much for you. If you need it, then go with the aftermarket one.

Good luck.

hold the hand brake down, and then mash the foot brake. When you mash the ffot brake can you feel the hand brake trying to push back?

I guess I got a little weasel that keeps following me around. Isn't even man enough to use his regular user name. He's got to hide behind another name. So sad, and he's supose to be a grown man. What a joke.
