I just bought a 2003 Predator. I'm a newbie to quad riding but so far i really like my predator. I was wondering if anyone could tell me if there are different models in 03. Thanks in advance...

 

in 2003 it was just the one your riding. in 2004, they introduced the TLD, which wasnt anything special. in 2005 they introduced the TLD with the close ratio gearbox and podium x shocks. they also introduced the LE with the STD gearbox. in 2006 the LE was changed to the TLD gearbox.

 

What color is yours? 03 is when the Pred first came out. The silver was the standard one, then they made a limited amout of TLD Predators which were black and some where even numbered. But it was just a color change. There were no perfomance difference between the two.

 

The 03 came in standard silver and the black Troy Lee's were internet ordered only, delivered to the dealer of your choice. Color and graphics were the only difference.

 

They also made a 50th Anniversary Edition in 04 that was dark mettalic blue.
