What do you think are the best and worst mods for a utility and why??

Just a tread to B.S. in
I will get us started. I would have to say the best mod I have done so far would be to put the steel tube bumpers on my sportsman they have saved the front end a bunch of times. I know that don’t seem like much of a mod but my quad would look a lot different without them. And from what I have read “way to many times” it seams like a lift is the worst mod for a utility. To much stress on the drive train.
lets try and make this a useful thread so that someday someone searching for answers may find them hear

I would say best mods for a ute would be the bumpers, winch, Radial mud tires, hand warmers, hand guards, anything to guard the chasis (skid plates, stick stoppers etc...),.

I agree 100% with 2manytoys on his suggestions.....I think a good radiator protector is a great addition to a ute....The one Jamhard offers is excellent.....The radiator just sits right up front asking for something to get jammed in there, better safe than sorry....The Stick Stoppers to protect the a arms and cv's is one of my favorites and have saved me a few times, judging by the abuse they take........The bumpers always help....Possibly a set of nerf bars to protect the floorboards, we all know how succeptible they are to breaking on the sportsmans.....And of course the winch which should be one of the first mods you should do........Anything you can add for protection is a good addition in my opinion....

i think snorkel systems belong on the "best" list too. but the absolute best mods that u could ever have for a ute are mud tires and a winch... no doubt. they are the most useful.
