after shopping for quite a while..i went ahead and bought a 04 pred..i know i coulda just went brand new iwth all the upgrades..but i dont really wanna drop all that on a quad when im still in highschool. As far as upgrades..its got the nicholas cycle carb mod, WB silencer, KN filter, Nicholas CDI rev box, nerf bars..new handle bars since the 04 bars sat lower...uhh brand new 05 pred tires on it... nice deal an i paid 3600 for it...idk i thought so anyway...
i was wondering..how much does a service job that includes valve timing adjustment cost?

I think you did good on that deal. That's a quad that should be ready to run really hard, and you don't need to mess with what mods to do...they are all done.
On the valve adjust, I just had my dealer do it and it cost me $190. That included going over the whole quad and tightening everything, oil and filter change, valve adjust, chain adjust and lube, and greasing all the zerks. I think that was probably pricy, but hopefully I won't have to do it again for a long time.

I think your best bet would be through Pure Polaris. I have not heard good things about Maier. Fullbore is supposed to be real nice, but they are really pricy. Pure Polaris is as close to OEM as you can get.
