After replacing my winch cable for the plow for the second time this season, I decided there must be something better. I had numerous old seatbelts in my storage garage and thought it was worth a try. After 3 plowing sessions, it seems like the idea is a winner. Of course the true test will be long term usage. The belt is strong and flexable so it turns over the roller fairlead easily. The winch hook pinned to the metal end on the belt. Time will tell. e-mail for pictures

 

Winch rope is good stuff too. You can find it pretty cheap on ebay.
