killswitch placement

Default killswitch placement

I have a 2000 325 magnum that i will be keeping at my lakehouse come spring.It wil;l be locked in the shed but I want to put a hidden killswitch somewhere on it.Which wire could i splice into to kill the juice to it even to pull start it.Thanks

you could put a master shut off switch like some big equipment have. ild put it between the battery and starter my self

Well ...you can disconnect battery and it will start with the recoil starter.Anyone have another idea.Thanks

then trace the wires from the kill switch down to a place hiden from veiw and put a switch to disrupt the circuit and you'll have your extrta kill switch that only you know where it is.

that wouldn't stop somebody from stealing it,if thats what you tring to do........wayout, out.........

i think ill split the white wire with blue stripe going to coil to another toggle switch.i know it wont keep it from being taken but will keep it from starting.

Just a sug. but if I was going to leave it for a while I would put some oil in the cyl. to keep it from rusting then i would put a dummy plug in it, beat the old electrode off. If you want to do something like that, it sure woundn't start.

Splice into a black wire and use the toggle switch to connect it to ground. That'll keep the CDI from firing.
