Default 2006 Sportsman500EFI---SOLD!

after having major and minor problems from the day i took delivery, i finally decided enough was ENOUGH and sold it!

for me buying a first year Polaris was a major dissapointment and it will not happen again.

i have been riding Polaris since '95, a first year 4 stroke from Polaris (Magnum425). i have been riding Sportsmans since '98 or '99.

this 500EFI has been the first MAJOR problem prone ATV i have EVER owned in my life! (my first ATV was a 1970 Honda ATC90.)

i don't know what i'll buy next.........................................

sincerely,

MTPockets

The great thing about the ATV industry is there are many manufacturers with plenty of models to choose from. Good luck on your next atv.

I may have been lucky with my early model 2002 sp700 that has been pretty damn good and reliable.
I think a lot has to do with dealer prep.

Sorry about your troubles.
I would go with the 700efi or the 800 EFI 2006 models.

thank-you for all the responses so far! you guys are just great!

Fireslayer i wish not to re-hash all the problems i had. the wounds are still healing (figuritively speaking). i just don't think it would benefit anything bringing back all that unhappiness. you could do a simple search of my past topics though.

for now i think i'm just going to step back and research things a little more carefully and read YOUR posts on problems vs praise. i can't afford to goof on the next one. i took a considerable loss.

out for now!
