Phoenix 200 vrs Kymco 250
#1
I am getting ready to buy the kids new quads. I am going to buy the Kymco 90 for sure. I can't decide between the Kymco 250 or Phoenix 200. The Kymco is impressive to look at, it appears to be more bang for the buck and better built. What do you guys think?

One of the mags did a shootout between these two, and the Polaris won due to better handling. The Kymco did have better power though. They also have had a problem throwing chains in the past. I don't know if they have fixed the design or not, but a quality aftermarket chain may go a long way to alleviate the problem anyway. Other than that I haven't actually ever seen either one on the trails.

You should for sure buy a Phoenix in my mind I have had no troubles with my Phoenix and with a tire change and the following: jet kit pipe and air filter the Quad has alot of power for people like me (12). With these changes The Phoenix is Perfect for a race. However the Qaud is very good from the factory.
ROCK ON POLARIS!!!!!!!!!!

I love Polaris buy the Kymco is better. Just replace the chain. The Arctic Cat DVX 250 is made by Kymco and is nice too. Why noy get a Polaris Trailblazer? The Pheonix is a decent machine but also a little smaller. It is made by Aeon in Taiwain.

We have enjoyed our Phoenix. Polaris has really good rebates on the 05's right now, but I would get an 06. They made some very nice improvements for 06. The 06 is a bit faster than the 05 due to gearing changes.
