Polaris X2

Does anyone know anything about the X2? Does anyone have one? I want to get a two up so I can bring the lady along, but I don't want to get something, like the Bomb two up, that's always a two up. The idea of transforming seat sound kind of cool. Any thoughts?

The X2 is a comfortable, easy to use 2-up ATV.
I sat on one just a couple of weeks ago and its really cool how you can change from one-up to two-up in under 5 seconds. It is a 500cc engine, but i think Polaris is going to make larger engine sizes for next years model.
If i were you, i would wait till next year to buy a new polaris model. It is the same with their sleds, the Fusion 900 was a new sled from polaris and they didnt work "all the kinks out" on the first year model. There are bound to be some problems with the new X2. Otherwise, you could go with the Bombardier Outlander 800 MAX. You can change it from one and two up too, and they have been out longer. Its up to you..

Being as it is essentially a stretched Sportsman 500 EFI I wouldn't think that it should have too many issues. The SP 500 has been around for ages....I think the only thing they have done is stretch the suspension so if anything I would suspect suspension problems, but not much else.

I was looking at buying a new wheeler and decided on the X2. I am not worried about it being a first year model because it is a deviation of the ATP they have had out. Mine is suppose to be coming in this week so hopefully I can give you a brief report on it after the weekend.

I looked at and rode one a couple of weeks ago and like it alot. One of the touted features was supposed to be 4 wheel engine braking system (EBS), but apparently they are having some trouble, so the current ones being delivered only have 2 wheel EBS. If that's not a big deal to you, get one now. If it is a big deal to you, as it is to me, wait a few months for the 4 wheel EBS.
The new X2 (with the 4 wheel EBS) is everything I'm looking for in an ATV and I'm looking forward to getting one.

I was just reading about Polaris having problems with the SP 500EFI. Do you think these problems will be present in the X2? I think it has the same engine right?
