I am in a debate already on the Honda forum. This guy says his 2wd Rancher can do anything a 4wd can do. And just as good if that. He says it has to do with rider experience not 4wd. I guess that he does not under stand the concept of 4 wheels are better than 2. This is going to be fun!! Oh and he is the one complaining about getting stuck in some sand in a creek.

He will obviously will need to put the crack pipe down and step back.

2wd can get into some amazing places, but 4wd quads will introduce you to a new universe.

You are exactly right. He has probably never been on a 4wd so he has no clue how far they can actually go. Or all his friends that have 4wd dont know how to drive them.

It's obvious that anyone who makes that kind of comment has never seen a 4x4 quad at work compared to his 2wd.

go one step farther and try a true 6 wheel drive atv. MAX IV six wheel drive amphibious. to boldly go where no 4 wheel drive has gone before. o and try a tug of war with one. forget about it.

Well, I have made the comment that my Boss would go a lot of places I wouldn't have thought it would.
Of course last time i had it out, I went through one of those places. As the back wheels sank and spun in the mud, it sure would have been nice to have front wheel that would have pulled me out. Pic #21 on my page will give you an idea of how muddy it was. Of course I was stuck before it got rolled, so some mud came off. The front wheels were on the dry side, and would have pulled me out, if only it was 4wd.

In that kind of situation I always attempt to apply the wisdom of “if you argue with an idiot onlookers may not be able to tell which one is the fool.” Good luck with that.
