Has anyone installed the new aaen mega power muffler on their sp700/800??? They claim a 5 hp and 5 lb/ft of torque gain, awesome low end pull-quicker acceleration-and more top end speed..... I already have installed the sp800 header pipe, intake snorkel, and a k&n filter, but I'm concerned about leaning out my sp700efi too much with this muffler. Has anyone tried it??? Thanks, Dan.

The only thing there muffler did to my bike was make it louder. Save your money.

 

the Aaen system is a good system just dont expect a huge increse in power.And with EFI the computer will recalibrate the air/fuel mixture.This is the only good thing I have to say about EFI

 

I?ve been running the Aaen single can on my 800 for a year. It?s louder and you will get some power gains although if you really want to take advantage of a better aspirated motor (more air intake and free flow exhaust) it?s best to augment the fuel injection with a fuel controller like the Dobeck unit. Stock EFI has a limited range of operation so you end up a little too lean which makes things run hotter.
