Predator Jetting ?? help plz!
#1
Hey guys,
Well for those who've not been following i just had my stator replaced b/c my predator was popping and losing spark through the first half of the RPM range. It ran great for a day. now, it has a hesitation in the upper range. When it's in the meat of the powerband, it will cease to make any noise at all for a split second, then continue building revs (almost like a lack of spark again) This typically happens once or twice per gear from 2nd gear on (not in first for some reason...) anyway, i had a K&N filter on it and figure w/ the cold that it may just be jetting... so i put the stock one on, and it got worse, went from one or two times to like 4-6. Anyone know what is wrong? it is like... 3 degrees outside, but with proper warm up this thing should run fine anyway. Do predators just run like crap in the cold? any help quickly before i call the dealership again and send it in for another 2 months would be great... thanks...

I'm not much help, other than to tell you that I also have a pred, and have run it in the cold. I do not experience this issue at all. It does take a few for it to warm up, but I think that's pretty normal.
