will a pipe for a sportsman 500 fit on a 400? I'm thinking about getting a DG Stage 3 XCellerator but the only applications is for a 500. its $284. good price?? good pipe??? good sound???

 

I don't know for sure but I would look at other manufacturers first. If other companies offer a pipe for a 400 and one for a 500 it most likely will not work but you might be able to find a company that will say based upon other products if you know what I mean. If it is a full exhaust I would htink that that's a pretty good price but I'm not sure how much more power pipes make on a 4-stroke anyways. I have heard good things about DG 4-stroke exhaust for performance and power but I know that they make crappy 2-stroke pipes.

I don't know exactly what to tell you I looked on Hot Seat's site and they offer different exhausts for the 500 and the 400, you could try to e-mail DG and see if they know or not. But the Hot Seat exhausts are around $400ish so that's a pretty good deal I think, but you might be able to find it somewhere cheaper than the actual manufacturer too but I'm not sure exactly. Sorry I can't give you a definite answer on this.
