Default Predator Oil Question

Time for an oil change.

Question is what do you guys use other then Polaris Oil?

I would like to find an oil thats just as good if not better that doesn't have the expensive polaris brand name on it.

I would like to stick with Synthetic oil so anyone have any good wet clutch synthetic oils they use?

Yea, I think you'll also find there really isn't that much difference in cost. $6 or so a quart unless your dealer is really laying it to you...

Make sure you find one that is rated for wet clutch application, standard car oil won't work, even synthetic . It only takes 2.25 qts why risk it?

I use amsoil ow40 or polaris oil. More important than which brand is changing it often. As long as your using a wetclutch full synethic 0w40 and changing you oil every 8 to 10 hours you will be fine.

Default Predator Oil Question

After running my pred hard this weekend.....I'm going to switch oil too. I think the polaris oil makes it hard to shift, when it gets real hot. I'm going to Bel-Ray thumper oil.....

i've heard the belray thumper is good also. I use to use belray in my two strokes for the transmission and it worked great. I wonder who makes Belray oil?
