big bore for scrambler 400

what does this amount to. is it worth the money. do i gain alot of low end. i have the hpd trailmod engine now with 12-1 head kn no air box, 39 kehin carb. i would like more low end power for the trails.

go with the aaen 440 big bore kit,low end,midrange,and top end assured!!!enjoy!

you will gain 10hp+ through the full powerband only with this 88mm piston porting and head modification.

Peewee, call Darrell at HPD and talk to him. Don't believe this clown. His brains are scrambled!

A big bore kit will give more low end, but I would'nt reccommend unless you drag or ride in large open spaces.

Quite honestly, I think you could do a little clutching (lower engagement, shiftout quicker), change gearring (go down in front, or up in rear) and try a HPD 15.5:1 dome for about 1/2 the cost of a BBK and be satisfied.

if you're a man you'll buy the big bore kit and push it a full throttle all the time!
