Default 05 700 EFI

Just wondering if anyone has replaced the mount torque stop on their sportsmans exhaust?......It's connected to that bracket just after the sharp bend in the exhaust that secures the exhaust to the frame....It's got that piece of rubber on it.......This has gotta be the stupidist setup I've ever seen.....Rubber and extreme heat don't actually jive together....Anyway if someone has replaced theres, was it a pain in the a$$ or what? Thanks.....

If its waht I think it is, and its the same as a 2002 700, its pretty easy. Just disconnest the spring with a pair of pliares, then break the lock nut loose and spin it out. My 700 is on its 3rd in 4000 miles. My 700 has also eaten 7 of the front exhaust dognuts. At about $17 apiece thats been the worst problem with it.

put the 800 header and a white brothers muffler on it from breeze lawn and garden on e-bay for about $300 bucks and you dont need the mount, or the donut anymore. Makes them run alot better too.
