I have a 95 scrammy 400 4x4, and I am going to be sending my enigne away for work..While it is apart i'm going to mod it up a bit...so what mods would I need to blow away (or at least beat) my buddies brute w/ module, jetting, filter, and exhaust...as always an info is appreciated..

 

The 400 will adapt to mods very easily. Get the jug ported, lightened flywheel, bigger carb, pipe, clutch kit and hang on!!!! HPD has a race mod that puts out 80+ hp. You can get a trail mod thats around 60hp. Any of these will smoke a BF.

 

what he ^^^^ said. you'll have no problems. i'd say 800 dollars and you're looking at 60+.

air filter and jets = 50 bucks or so
exhaust = 200
clutch kit = 150? idk on that one
trail port = 150-175

that right there is only 400 bucks approximately. you could easily slapon a 39pwk and really be rippin around. although it'd be another 200$
